POLICIES + prep

At The Bronzed Vault, your time and experience matter — and I kindly ask that you respect ours too. No-shows or late cancellations (within 24 hours of your appointment) will result in a 50% charge of the booked service. There’s a 10-minute grace period if you’re running behind, but anything later will be considered a no-show and charged accordingly. To keep the space serene and safe, no children are allowed in the spray tan room. Proper prep is key to flawless results — failure to follow prep guidelines may lead to rescheduling and a service fee. Let’s respect each other’s time and keep the glow-up smooth.

Spray Tan Pre-Care
To get the best, longest-lasting glow:

  • Exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment — focus on dry areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. Avoid oil-based scrubs.

  • Shave or wax at least 24 hours in advance to let skin calm down before your tan.

  • Avoid lotion, deodorant, perfume, or makeup the day of your appointment — clean, bare skin is key.

  • Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing to your session (no tight bras, leggings, or jeans).

  • Come prepared with your hair tied up and skin free of product — trust me, it makes all the difference.

Spray Tan Post-Care
Now let’s make that tan last:

  • Wait 8–12 hours before showering (unless told otherwise for a rapid tan 1-6 hours) — no sweating, working out, or water contact during this time.

  • Your first rinse should be lukewarm water only — no soap. Pat dry, don’t rub.

  • After your first rinse, moisturize 2x daily with a gentle, hydrating lotion to extend the life of your tan. We love Hempz, CeraVe etc

  • After 24 hours you can shower like normal — spray tan safe soap only. We love See You Sundae and Native

  • Avoid long, hot showers, exfoliating, or using products with alcohol, retinol, or mineral oil.
